Great place to visit that offers a nice view of the surrounding regions. Lines were fairly quick and the cost is 25,000 COP for each adult admission. We didn’t stay that long as it was a really hot day and there isn’t too much shade...More

Make sure you go early, bring a hat and a water bottle. You will walk a lot and visit tunnels, it's best to hire a local guide or the audioguide, which will give you some insight about the history of the Castle.

Amazing history behind this fortress. Make sure to watch the video that plays on and on at the hospital building to understand the genius behind the construction of this fortress, not a castle.

The view was amazing when you finally get to the top of the fortress. Learn a little history while enjoying the scenery of Cartagena Colombia. It's always some type of activity and festive to showcase the culture and history of Colombia people.
