Temple site honoring Liu Bei and others who lived in the early part of the fist millenium AD. The most impressive items are the two stone tablets near the entrance. The temple is located right next to Jinli Pedestrian Street.

Not a palace but feels like one. Really a memorial and lovely grounds. Easy to get around and crowds are not too bad. Can do in an hour or less. Typical Chinese structures.

Have to know the history of Chengdu to understand all the memorial figure statues. There are so many and also a beautiful bonsai area. Some must be hundreds of years old. Alongside the temple complex is Jinli street which is worth walking down.
