We did not know what to expect but this was a wonderful variety show. It did not matter that we did not understand Chinese , we enjoyed all the acts, the singing and dancing and especially the face changing. What talent. Definitely recommend

I had never even heard of this but boy it is something to see. The faces change so quickly and for it to be on a person is one thing but then for the puppet well I have no clue at all how that was...More

The Opera was beautiful! I enjoyed the experience. The host spoke in Chinese and English. The performances were in Chinese but it was enjoyable and easy to follow. They interacted with he crowd and you had an opportunity to get dressed up and take pictures...More

Was interested to see the face changing acts which were fantastic. The shadow puppet work was also very good as was the female juggler. All in all a good night out.

We bought the mid range tickets, our seats were right in front of the main aisle that lead to the dressing room area, they were great seats, we had no problem seeing everything. We were not super close to the stage, but not so far...More

The music, dancing, comedy, puppets, and hand shadow shows were wonderful and very well presented. I went alone but wished I had my grandsons with me to enjoy all these many aspects of Chinese opera. Don't bother with the VIP tickets, though they are near...More

I went there only to join my friends expecting something similar to Beijing opera. I enjoyed the show - it's kind of China has (or had) talent. We did not have the best tickets but still have seen everything. The tea is served to everyone....More

We really enjoyed this show. Get cheap tickets as there isn't a bad seat in the house. Our tour guide explained the premise of some of some of acts which helped our understanding. There are many Chinese tourists. You may disappointed if you take a...More

It’s a show showing different style of entertainment from ancient China, from orchestra, to shadow finger arts, to face changing mask, to puppetry, to comedy act, to acrobats. The acts I enjoyed were the shadow finger arts, few of the stuff made by the performer...More

Nitpickers will always find something annoying or negative about this show. But, we found it to be an outstanding experience overall. The shadow performance, the face-changers and the man playing the two-string Chinese instrument to me were the highlights. It's not the Shanghai Circus. It...More
