There is an Excellent collection of Chinese cultural works housed in a unique IM Pei building. The visit is well with the wait.

You have to come here while you are in Suzhou. Everything from calligraphy to pottery. Popular with Chinese tourists.

This is typical museum with no any interactive, just some old exhibits. If you study Chinese history and culture, then it can be very interesting for you - a lot of information in English; but if you don't - then it is very boring. However...More

World class museum that we spent more time than expected in. Plenty of English information to read about by the exhibits if you don't read Chinese like me. The modern and ancient blend of the buildings was very well laid out.

The museum is designed by the famous architect I.M. Pei and he did a really good job. The exhibits and the spaces he created are very beautiful.

I didn't explore the galleries at all, rather I chose to explore the interior architecture and the veiws from the outside. I was rather museumed out and there wasn't enough time to do it all justice.
