From Shanghai station take the high speed train, then the #5 suburban bus for taste of local transport. This takes you through the estates along the way to Luzhi, a little more explorative and will cost you 3Y. Takes you direct to the front entrance....More

Wonderful experience walking through this Ancient Town, with many local merchandises, silk works, and there is canal that runs along the whole town. It was clean and not many tourists yet when we were there.
