cooling with nice views

Sadly, when I went parts of this dam (jing ji hu) were under construction. But overall, this place has a nice view and many shops around the lake. Nov has good weather, quite chilling but very nice to feel the breeze.

Variety of Eat-outs and nice lake area
Nov 2016 • Friends
Good place for catch-ups where u find variety restaurants and quite good lake area for walk/cycling. Lake area is quite modern, less attractive than other scenic places in Suzhou. It's good option to spend a weekend day at ligongdi area. Road Construction around this area troubled us to get to this place.

If you like bridges ??? This is one.
Mar 2016 • Couples
If you are planning to go and eat in the nearby Ligondi restaurants you can go and see this bridge. But in the old town there are much more nice bridges to see and to cross. This on is rather big and OK. Not spectaculiar

A beautiful commercial street
Dec 2013 • Couples
It is at a corner of Jinji Lake, a 5A grade tourist attraction. The dam is more than 120 years old, and it was developed as a commercial street on top of it. There are two hotels - one Thai Spa resort named Regalia Resort & Spa Ligongdi, another is a Singapore style service apartment hotel named Suisse Palace Ligongdi Suzhou. The commercial street comes with many restaurants, bars etc. It is nice if you drive there for meal at early evening, with very good atmosphere. Don't forget that it is built on a 5A grade tourist attraction.

I have passed by on this a lot of times before i knew it is one of the city attractions so i took a shot of it this morning as i went biking. I like the the design that was sculpted in your way up.
