Having been to many night markets and pedestrian walking streets particularly in Taiwan, Hongkong and Thailand, I would regard this 华侨新村路步行街 (hua qiao xin chun lu bu xing jie) to be a far cry from my personal expectation.

The entrance to the Pedestrian street on Jinxin South Road, try to locate the wet market for a feel of the local lifestyle. The fried oyster pancake stall is opposite and at night there are street food. McDonalds cafe is round the corner at Jinsha...More

After dinner, this is a good place to stroll. However, the clothing and such seems to be more suitable for younger crowd. Just in front of this street you will also find stalls selling local food if you the adventurous type.
