How many people get to do this? I found it to be humbling and interesting. As well as the Magellan Strait, you can look at the sculpture and trompe l'oeil murals.

A nice “corniche” with a good view on the Estrecho, with some nice spot for pictures. There are small parking lots here and there along the seaside road. It would be perfect for a relaxing walk if it were not extremely windy. On New Year’s...More

The statue/monument is nice, maybe even partly interesting but I'm beginning to question why trip advisor has so much of this guff on it. You would be mad to visit this; you might stop for a look if you were walking along the sea front

Nice and interesting monument to the early settlers. And its location along the shore enabled us to gaze out on the Straight and imagine what these people had to go through to get here and settle this remote place.

We visited this monument as we walked along the seashore. This is also a fountain, but the water was frozen! It is beautiful as you pay attention to the details.

Located on the waterfront this is a monument to the first settlers to the area who arrived on the Ancud (a replica is in the Nao Victoria museum)

Enjoy walking along the Straits of Magellan and seeing monumental soaring statues, realistic murals, and humbling memorials to the early residents of this starkly beautiful location.
