You must go here to get a panoramic view of the waterfront city. The Pacific Ocean looks amazing and those houses with colorful roofs is just a pleasant view. There is also a pole with all the cities and their kms signpost :-) We took...More

The view is allright but not spectacular. When you have time to spare it's ok to walk uphill and take a few fotos. Don't expect too much...

This is an easily accessible, clearly marked view point. It provides a nice view of the town. Not worth making a trip to see it in it's own right but can be slotted in to any other activity or trip. There is an equally good...More

We have all the city in front of us. Easy to get there and we can use a different way to return. Good experience.

Our city tour stopped at Cerro De La Cruz to take in the view of Punta Arenas and the Strait of Magellan. We had a good view of our cruise ship at anchor. You only need 5-10 minutes for photos.

Not spectacular but worth the walk and stairs for a good look out over the town, Tierra del Fuego, and strait.

Go when it does not rain if possible: the view deserves to be seen correctly! A little climbing is needed but not exhausting

The walk up from the town centre gives a good impression of Punta Arenas and at the mirador a panoramic view is revealed. There were a few craft/souvenir stalls for those who have made the hike and then a gentle stroll back down to town.

I would argue about the reviews for this. It is an ok walk, with a good view of Punta Arenas and a little stall if you want to buy Ecuadorian items. You would do this if you were here but don't get too excited about...More
