Past by this church on the way from the pier to the town centre. It was eye catching since the surrounding buildings are just 1 or at most 2 stories high. Just for a photo stop.

We drove to several churches that have been restored. Some we could not enter; others were open. This area is the "end of the world."

An interesting building, standing proud & tall in the harshness of this often cold & windy town! Set in a pretty street opposite the park where many plaques commemorating the people of the area & the past events are on display.

By chance we heard mass on a Saturday evening here. It was in Spanish. The priest was pleasantly surprised to see Asians attending his service and special mentioned it before formally starting the mass. Felt good to be able to hear mass away from home!
