After an extended five weeks of travel in Nepal, Australia and Patagonia, the four nights and three days on the Navimag ferry was a blissful absolving of responsibility with incredible views of the many many islands of Chile, volcanoes, forests - untouched wilderness with yoga...More

Never ever book this ferry. It is organised chaos. We have been stuck in Puerto Natales Habour for 6 hours. Are not allowed to reclaim our cases and we can either disembark sometime after midnight or stay on board unt 6 am.

Again, this is a cargo ship NOT a cruise! You will have a great time as long as your expectations are realistic. The single factor that will determine how much you enjoy the fjords is the weather. There was a passenger on our boat who...More

I was not sure what to expect when I read previous reviews on other sites, and I wondered whether I had made a mistake in choosing to do this trip. The ship is a working ferry but I found that this added to the experience....More

We took the Navimag ferry from Puertos Chacabuco to Montt. We were treated extremely well by crew, and in particular the supervisor, Gaspar, who was very friendly and professional. He gave us information about the ferry's facilities and provided updates on any delays (translated into...More

Definitely not my usual way to travel but wow! Spectacular sail through the fjords and a truly relaxing way to travel. Plus, fantastic crew and interesting people travelling. Much better way to get to Puerto Natales and Torres del Paines than by airplane and bus!

I recently traveled with a friend from Puerto Natales to Puerto Montt on the Navimag ship Edén. When I purchased our tickets, which in and of itself, was a fairly difficult, time-consuming, and confusing process, I was informed that we would be taking the ship...More

This bears repeating - Navimag runs a ferry service whose main purpose is to transport goods and livestock between Pto Natales, Pto Montt and points in between. So, keeping this in mind (& despite the very high price) the experience exceeded our expectations. Our departure...More

My husband and I couldn’t have expected any more. We had originally booked the dorm style cabin along with 20 other passengers. Due to the ferry being light on passengers, everybody was upgraded! We spent 3 wonderful days on board where we where fed and...More
