As part of a safari with another company, we were booked for a late afternoon/sunset "cruise" on the Chobe River. Cameras were provided with a very long telephoto lens (600 mm). The young woman (sorry, forgot her name) who helped us operate the camera also gave us wonderful tips for the best photos you can imagine. Shaw, the guide, was... More

My wife and I can heartily recommend this tour. It was the highlight of our trip to Africa. The staff did everything to make our trip the best possible experience. You cannot go wrong with them. We also learned a lot about wildlife photography.

We attended the basic photography academy at Pumba Game Reserve in the Eastern Cape. Aside from teaching us great photographic skills, our guide Neale Howarth treated us to the best wildlife sightings we have ever experienced. A Cheetah and Lion kill kept us busy with subject matter and the Elephant herd parading a new born calf was beyond our greatest... More

The design of the boat is something every photographer should experience. The adjustable chair and camera support is quite something to experience. Either use your own kit (which I did)... More

We did the Pangolin weekender photo safari. We were picked up promptly at the airport and delivered to the Mowana Lodge where we stayed for 2 nights. Overall we did 3 river cruises (1 in the am and 2 in the pm) as well as a morning land safari before returning to the airport. I can't say enough good things... More

In the world of nature the pangolin is a rare animal, and in the world of photography Pangolin Photo Safaris is that rare company that delivers at the highest level in every capacity. Their equipment, from boats to seats/mounts to cameras/lenses (if you choose to use theirs) is unequaled. Their reservation staff and guides are the best. We have been... More
