We (my wife, 17 year old son, 14 year old daughter and me) spent 2 nights on the Chobe Princess, one of the smaller houseboats in the collection and had a really special time. The staff was amazing (10 out of 10), as was the food (Jane can really cook). The experience of seeing animals from the boat was great - very different than the land safari we had previously done - and we saw a lot of animals along the Chobe. There is the option to get off the boat and take smaller boats to get closer to the action, as well as to fish for tiger fish (we didn't catch one, but still had fun). The rooms were very comfortable (and air-conditioned) and the common areas were very pleasant.

My family of four spent two nights on the lovely Chobe Princess. The Chobe Princess has very nice rooms with spectacular views. The food and service on the boat was excellent. David, our guide, was friendly and knowledgeable, and he showed us an amazing number of different animals and birds, including herds of elephants, giraffes, hippos, and Cape Buffalo. Our stay on the Chobe Princess was a highlight of our trip to Africa.

This experience has had an indelible effect on my life. The tranquility, peace and harmony of the environment and the people, has been etched into my soul. I would change absolutely nothing this product has to offer. The facility, the food, the staff, the game viewing, bird watching and fishing will take a lot of beating. Nothing was too much to ask for. Attention to detail is evident. Beyond expectations and worth every single moment ! Three nights was wonderful, but I could have stayed for longer. If there is a negative, it is the various border crossings on arrival and departure, which are tedious and of course, necessary.
