Locals selling everything from souveniers, alpaca sweaters and hats, restaurants, street food and bars line this street heading from the lake up to center of town. We found it fun to walk up and down looking for bargains and good places to eat. There were...More

Walking on this street is the most harassing experience you will encounter in the town. Go up further and visit the markets and cathedral. The town is not a place to hang up for more than a day, most restaurants are too dirty to eat...More

Lots to see and so many shops and restaurants to choose from. A lot of stalls also where you can buy pretty much anything. You can't avoid the Avienda 6 de Agosto so on your way to the cathedral or other attractions enjoy the walk!

I have been to many towns similar to the setup here. There is Playa del Carmen in Mexico. For every one of them, there is always a street that clusters all the “happenings”, where vendors offer everything to the tourists, eateries, internet cafes and almost...More
