This is a nice FREE tourist attraction. You can get through it and see it in a half hour, or spend a long time there if you want to immerse yourself in the experience. There's not much for young kids to do here, though there are picnic tables, some benches and lots of paths for them to run on to burn energy. The gift shop is cute, lots of stuff related to the site, fair prices too. Has some refreshments too and clean restaurants. I didnt post any pictures as there are lots here already.

I first heard about Carhenge several decades ago...some guy planted a bunch of old cars in a Nebraska field to look like Stonehenge. How could you not like that? So for many years, it was on the list of "stop by sometime when we are passing through." That didn't work all that well because it is kind of out in the middle of nowhere. Finally, my wife and I decided it was a Must See and we added a leg into cross-country trip so we could visit Carhenge. I will admit that this attraction is not for everyone. Many will look at it and go "hey, what's the big deal, just a pile of cars." When we looked at it, it captured our imaginations. We soon were identifying particular models and brands of cars. It is really difficult to describe...yes, quirky....and fun. Go visit it.

Kitschy but actually pretty ingenious and lighthearted. The memory car was silly and some sad, too. A nice place to wander and wonder how they did it! The gift shop was closed, sadly.

Quirky! Fun! We decided to check out this unique stop after seeing a billboard on our road trip. It was fun to see. Very creative. One of those things to say "Hey we did that!" It was free to view all the sculptures.

No photo can do justice to Carhenge. You really must see it. If you’ve been to Stonehenge it is even more incredible.
