- Mark DUnited Kingdom9 contributionsSnow skiing in 40c is brilliant, reasonable value for money.Good experience, where else in the world do you get to go snow skiing when it’s 40c outside?? Would recommend it, we took the family of 4 experience pass which included skiing, zorbing, toboggan slide. Reasonable value for money, clean clothes but boots and skis were very tired/worn. The quality of the equipment was the only downside.Visited October 2023Travelled with familyWritten 23 October 2023
- Ahmed O6 contributionsAwesomely Great!!!My experience was awesome. Mr Hossam the manager on duty made sure my son and I had a great time despite the fact that our voucher was not a recent one. I told him my son and I came all the way from Sharjah to have fun. And it will be a waste of energy and my son will really feel bad if he could not see the snow experience I have been promising him long time ago. Mr Hossam saw how apologetic I was and the sad face on my son and he decided to let us use the voucher. Thank so much to you. I will always remember this favour you did for me and my son. God bless 🙏🙏🙏Visited November 2023Travelled with familyWritten 20 November 2023

Only negative is the extremely high prices to buy your pictures with since you can't take your own. That's how they get you.Visited November 2023Travelled soloWritten 22 November 2023
- MoonsterUK1,899 contributionsWinter wonderland/Santa visitBooked in advance. Cost 300 aed (around £60) per person for santa and snow park. For this we got given a Christmas hat each, pair or socks and some fleece gloves to keep (came in different sizes), the warm suits to wear, free locker rental, visit santa, every person got a goody bag. The kids ones included some fluffy socks, a slap band, some stickers, some candies in a toy and a stuffed snowman. The adult ones had some fluffy socks, cookie cutters and a bath bomb. Everyone also got a hot chocolate with cream and marshmallows and each person got a printed photo, you could chose from several. The set up to visit santa was good, through some lit up trees with various props for photos as you go. The downside is the timings are on the hour and they let all 75 people in on the hour, would be better to do slots every 15 minutes to reduce the queuing. The snowpark was fun but really we only spent around an hour there, didn't need much more. It's well organised with proper queuing systems to prevent people steeling the sledges. There is really only 3 short slopes to go down. After we left we saw through the windows they brought the penguins out and there was snow falling. Shame they don't tell you the timings for this as if we had known we'd have stayed another 10 minutes.Visited December 2023Travelled with familyWritten 21 December 2023
- Kath8687Sydney, Australia22 contributionsall in all, good funSome good and not so good points. The snow was fine, nicely maintained, The Penguin experience was fantastic. Overall, the place could be run better - more effective control of the lines for the lifts, the lockers were unpredictable whether they would work or not, and the boots were extremely old. If you can, take your own ski clothing as the clothing provided would not be anywhere near warm enough. Overall, a bit of fun at a very reasonable price.Visited December 2023Travelled with familyWritten 21 December 2023
- blueberryfats7 contributionsFun for both kids and adultsLots of fun! My 3 year old son loved it and still talks about it. They have different packages based on your preference and the age group. If you want to see the penguins you have to go early.Visited January 2024Travelled with familyWritten 8 February 2024
- ALP1991San Francisco, California82 contributionsFun to Ski in the DesertI did this activity because of the uniqueness of skiing in Dubai. I was a really fun experience, although all I tried was the ski slope. It was not crowded at all, starting around noon on a Tuesday. All the staff was friendly and helpful. NOTE: This is a unique/fun activity, not a ski experience that one might find at a ski resort. The run is fairly short and the man-made snow is a bit icy. Nonetheless, I thoroughly enjoyed it and would do it again based on my schedule.Visited March 2024Travelled soloWritten 6 March 2024
- ❤️❤️❤️❤️❤️❤️59 contributionsSo Awesome!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!This place was so amazing words cannot explain. I loved everything. Literally EVERYTHING!!!!!! There was a bobsled ride that you got a sort of plastic cheap sled and you took that to the top of a hill(dont worry very light) and then rhe instructor told you what to do and off you g0! Some of the tirns were so sharp that they left you screaming. Still fun. There were snow bumbers that are kind of like bumper cars except the ride is way shorter. That one was not the best. There was a big ball that you got inside and then rolled down a hill in it. A bit scary and don’t recommend for kids under six. There was pontons ( same thing as before but no ball) that also went down a hill, there was a short climbing wall (rather easy) and there was a chair lift and snowboarding. Your probably getting bored so I’ll stop here. If you want to find out more go to their websiteVisited March 2024Travelled with familyWritten 9 March 2024
- wezzels37 contributionsSnow exp in the desert? Yes plzWorth the experience, being able to ski on snow in a desert is fantastic! First pair of Skis barely had an edge, went back and swapped a new one; could carve. Take the button lift for experienced skiers to save time as the chairlift slows down all the time. The side activities were worth it, did every ride a minimum twice. Gear not required as they provide everything. GF tried skiing for the first time and loved it, within the hour she learnt how to turn. Smiles all around!Visited March 2024Travelled as a coupleWritten 20 March 2024
- Matthew N8 contributionsGreat Activity to do in DubaiI would highly recommend this if you are in Dubai for a trip and looking for a fun activity. As complete novices, my partner and I did the adult snowboard discovery course that they run as part of the Ski Academy services. We were introduced to the snowboard and taught the basics that would allow you to progress with more advanced lessons. If you have never even touched a snowboard before, I would recommend starting with the discovery course. Our instructor was very friendly and explained/ demonstrated everything in a way to make you understand what was required. The price is very reasonable, especially when compared with other options back home or abroad. As standard, you are supplied with all the equipment, jacket, trousers, and boots, so don't worry about not having cold weather gear in Dubai.Visited March 2024Travelled as a coupleWritten 4 April 2024

I am extremely disappointed with my first discovery lesson that took place this weekend. Firstly, there were too many students in the class, group bookings usually consist of 8 students maximum, the class we took had 12-13 students. It was extremely hard to hear our instructor and get the time with him required when learning a new technical skill. After approximately 15 minutes of instruction, the instructor watched us descend the small slope. If you were able to descend the slope he directed you to a slightly bigger slope via the ski lift. That was the last instruction we received. We had to figure out how to descend the bigger slope by ourselves without any tips or instruction from the instructor for the remainder of the lesson (about 45 minutes). Our instructor spent majority of the session with members of the class who struggled to pick up the basics. Even if we were skiing with a poor technique, we wouldn't know because we never received any comments or corrections. It is unacceptable that you are charging 180AED for 15 minutes with an instructor. I understand that it is a group class but having 12-13 people in the class made it extremely difficult to learn correct techniques for skiing, which is what should have been done in the basic discovery lesson. I really expected a better service at Ski Dubai!

We took premium ticket through entertainer app. It is around Aed 500.So we paid for 2 and had access for three. It is worth the price as the ticket includes a meal( 3 course),hot chocolate, hand warmers,locker,1 photo per ticket, unlimited access to park( you can go out and re enter),penguin encounter and one ski lesson. Such a good deal. Very well maintained park but if you are from countries with hotter climates, don't forget your thermals. We wore thermals on top of which we wore thick shirt and pant which we topped off with jacket. On top of it we wore their dress. I know it sounds crazy but temperature inside is -1to -2 and at penguin encounter it is -6. Protect your neck and nose to with neck warmers. Overall, worth a visit. My 9 yr old skied within 5 min of teaching while adults struggled. She was clubbed with adult group as she was only kid in the slot.

Ski Dubai is an amazing indoor ski resort located in the Mall of the Emirates. They have lots of different packages to choose from (from regular slope access to ski lessons, meet the penguins to snow park rides) it has something for everyone.
I personally attended for several ski lessons before my upcoming ski trip. I found the instructors varied (some better than others) but my favourite (and the best) was Karim. He was very easy to follow - I’m scared of heights and he helped me on my way down from the top and made it all so easy. I realised once I went on my ski trip that skiing in real life is a lot more difficult to skiing in Ski Dubai (as the ground at a real ski resort is much more lumpy and uneven) but it is a great place to start!
The lessons here are on the expensive size with a group lesson at AED 250 for 1.5 hours and a private lesson at AED 620 for 1 hour - ski hire is free but you have to pay an extra AED 35 for the locker (personally I think this should be included but clearly Ski Dubai dont).
You can also pay to just visit the slopes (including ski hire) I think this is around AED 200 for residents of the UAE (slightly more if you’re not). It’s extra to go on the rides and visit the penguins (however the are a few free penguin shows throughout the day and if you guess the hosts questions correctly you are able to meet the penguins).
Overall a great experience and I would keep going for lessons even though my ski trip is over!

Walking into Ski Dubai was exactly like walking into winter. They provided all equipment necessary to have a great experience, next time I'd take my own gloves because theirs are a bit thin for playing in the snow. I think I had more fun than the kids in our group. It was holiday time so we didn't get to get the Snow Premium package as we intended because of so many people but the Snow Classic was basically the same experience minus the penguins and ski lesson. I will defiantly be planning another trip here soon.

Yes, there is snow in Dubai, and gosh it’s realistic. We did the platinum experience for 2, and it’s worth every cent, go early as regardless of the day it gets busy, we had the whole park to ourselves for more than an hour. Loved every part of it, leave the kids at home and have some fun for yourself! The penguin visit was lovely and very memorable, the orb ball for me was super scary, the sledge ride really fast, the bumper cars super fun! We repeated all of our favorite things a few times each, got some great pics and it included lunch at the restaurant which looks into the park so super convenient! Highly recommend. Big shout out to the staff who are always smiling and helpful. Loved it!

I along with my family (4 members) had visited Ski Dubai on the 7th Nov 2023. We had taken the premium pass which includes all the activities including the penguin encounter for around 1500 AED for 4 people. However, after paying so much amount and taking the best available package online there was a constant upselling that was being done in the park to buy something or the other at extra cost. Moreover, we were not even allowed to take pictures in the penguin encounter while their own photographers were clicking our pictures and selling at 150 AED for each photo. The slope activity is not being allowed to be done if you are not at a minimum level 2 and all the other adventure sports like snow boarding etc were not available during the time we visited. Most of the things are not clearly communicated while you are booking the package, later either the things are not available or they are even more cost. Also, the photos that were part of our package were also not provided in soft copies. It is completely cheating in the park and the staff which is helping in performing the activities are also not at all hospitable. I had a very bad experience and would never recommend anyone to go here as the mind set is to mint more and more money from the visitors at every point. Also, my suggestion is to go to natural snow place like mount titlis etc as the temperature there feels less cold in comparison to this artificial one. Here you feel more cold than the temperature shown in the display may be due to no sun light. This level of maintenance of this temperature is also contributing so drastically to global warming. I have never visited such a money minded facility before.

Not exactly the Alps, but the closest you can get in the Arabian desert. Unique experience for UAE visitors, a nice escape for expats missing their snowy mountains. If you are an experienced skier better take the 2 hours pass, as it gets repetitive after that.

I was so disappointed with the Meet Santa today. I bought my 10 and 14 year old mainly for the 10 year old to see Santa and have fun with my girls. The magic didn’t start well at the check in desk we were informed the Santa hats that were offered were only left in extra small, the lady said we’ve ran out of others already!! We went through to see Santa which was booked for 4pm I think we stood in the queue and saw him 40 minutes later! Then a rushed Less than 3 minutes really wasn’t worth it! Then went for a hot chocolate to warm us up, both my girls are lactose intolerant and we were told there was no milk alternatives so we didn’t have one! We then went to go on the ride and my eldest was told she was too big for. After too many disappointments and standing around for 40 minutes we left . I was really upset for the girls advertised was a magical afternoon which turned out to be below average! For 225 dirhams it really was a rip off! You’ve let yourself down Ski Dubai such a shame as it’s the perfect venue you just failed to get it right!

So much better than I expected! One of the highlights of our 7 week trip across many countries.
We bought the premium package (which included socks and gloves) and got to experience everything on offer. We had a great day! It was opened from 9am to 12midnight which was fantastic. We are already great skiers so the runs were a bit short but excellent to get out of the heat. And the zipline was so much fun. Take extra layers.
We also had a break and went out for a while then came back. Well worth the money. The lines did get a bit long because they wouldn’t group people together to make each lift full, sometimes only 1 person on a 4 person chair, which was frustrating. The staff were very attentive and friendly doing a wonderful job, especially the cleaners, who have to pick up the absolute mess that the visitors leave! I have never been anywhere that shows how lazy people can be, expecting everyone to pick up after them. Put your crap where it goes people, stop acting so privileged!

Written 26 October 2023
Actually there is no place for babies within mall of the emirates. You need to arrange nanny or part time unfortunately to enter with the older kid. This is actually unfortunate within the area

It has been a while since we went to ski Dubai. The clothes they used to give were very thin and we had to wear something warm inside. Is it still the same case still?.
Written 11 September 2023
They usually give warm clothing, so just wear casual clothes. Also bring gloves because they don’t provide them.
