If you want to know the history behind Dubai then go there. It's ok. Nothing to be wow about. No need to go if history don't interest you. I dint really like it. Was too boring for me.

We stopped here on a bus tour. It was a basic museum about the history of Dubai. The galleries were quite dark and crowded with many tour buses. The building itself was interesting, being an old fort.

Went to Dubai Museum along with kids with great anticipation and excitement to see the historical and antique artefacts, however, most of the artefacts were models. The ticket price is awesomely cheap and provides the opportunity to spent few hours before heading to the souks.
