Fun Tours Dubai was an amazing tour company from start to finish. Our guide Reynel was on time every day picking us up from the hotel. He was very nice and knowledgeable on Dubai and its culture/history/future. Every question we asked he knew the answer and was gracious to inform us. Rain was who I corresponded with starting in December 2019 to plan our trip to Dubai. She was always prompt with responses and even called me to explain that on Fridays the Gold and Spice Souks open at a later time so we could move that part of the Dubai City Tour to Saturday. All of the tours were amazing! On the Dubai City Tour we got to see where the Royals lived, Burj al Arab and the beautiful Palm resort across from the Pier. On the Desert Safari Tour we got to go Dune bashing, and enjoyed the activities as the sun went down. I enjoyed the Camel Ride, but did not enjoy the drop when the camel was letting us off. It was quite scary! We enjoyed taking a photo with the Falcon while the Falcon handler only charged us $20 AED for both of us to take photos. The food at the Desert Safari was amazing including the chicken and rice milk my favorite. The fire breather was absolutely exciting to watch and daring! Our driver during the dune bashing was so skilled he ensured we had a safe and fun ride. Our driver even dropped us off at Dubai Mall for free to go to the Burj Khalifa after the Desert Safari. Reynel and our driver for the first day took amazing photos of us. Reynel took amazing photos throughout our entire tour itinerary for 2 days. Our Abu Dhabi tour was quite breathtaking. Being at the Sheikh Zayed Mosque which is the largest mosque in the world was quite incredible. Our guide Reynel stated that people would think we were royalty because we were dressed in traditional Muslim garb. We were even able to bargain with a jewelry seller in Abu Dhabi at the Islamic Museum of Arts. We got nice jewelry for our mothers there. I even brought my co-workers back some Dates from the Date Market in Abu Dhabi which they greatly enjoyed and finished in 2 days. We did not get to take photos in front of Ferrarri World, but did not feel this was something that needed to be seen since we would not be going into the building anyways. The Gold and Spice Souk was a very hectic place with many sellers being aggressive and harassing. Luckily our guide Reynel took us to a shop where we were able to buy nice souvenirs for the rest of our family. The Dhow Boat cruise was so comical and entertaining! The views from the dhow on the Dubai Creek were so beautiful with all the dhows lit up at night. Reynel was able to get us back to our hotel in a timely manner so we could catch our next flight to Amsterdam that evening. Overall this tour company was amazing and if we ever come back to Dubai we will be sure to look up Reynel and Fun Tours Dubai again!

We had a really fun time on the Desert Safari Tour with Traditional Dinner Show. Mr. Khan was our guide and he very friendly and funny. He was great in explaining the Dune Bashing, as I was a bit nervous, and always checked in on me to see if I was okay. He was also very helpful in giving us a heads up about things at the dinner show (i.e. what time we should line up for dinner and when we should go ride the camels) Thanks for a great experience!

We did the shorter one that included a very brief camel ride. The desert excursion was fun. However, this is not for you if you get car sick/ motion sickness. I found this out the hard way. Also if you own/ like to wear head scarves then take one or 2 with you so you won't have to buy one. You'll need it to cover your face & hair from all the wind blown sand. If you do decide to buy one there in the market area then use cash and try to get the price down. Drink lots of water... like all the water.

Attraction to swindle money. Along the way, you will be taken to the toilet, where sellers with scarves will pounce on you like seagulls, after a dozen offers to buy and the same number of refusals, get ready for a new dozen. If you were expecting the program to be all-inclusive, then get ready that demo versions are included, except for the ride itself, you just sit on the camel and they spin you around for about 2 minutes, if you want more on the camel you have to pay. It was not possible to roll from the board on the sand, the board does not roll. Dinner and the promised hookah, sorry, dinner will be after the show, and the hookah is paid, but you can buy a VIP and go up to the stands, they gave French fries very greasy and not tasty, water and Pepsi, and active sales began again, for your money, any whim of a hookah, ice cream, alcoholic drinks, souvenirs, gold and silver, and all the merchants will approach you many times in a circle. When you're tired of annoying salespeople, it's time for dinner. The fragrant smell of barbecue will tease everyone who did not buy VIP, with VIP, of course, we felt important, hungry people looked at us from below while we ate. Then, because they didn’t finish eating, the VIP boxes were given to the people below (this could be a joke, although who knows, I didn’t look into that kitchen. All this spoils the impression of a wonderful trip and a beautiful show.

Red Dunes desset safari was amazing , we received an excellent service from Funtours ,Mr. Asif being our trip advisor and guide through out the session .
He was remarkable through out the tour .

We had an amazing funny tour with Qamar (our safari guide) to the desert. First we had private safari on land crusier - funny, speed, extreme. Then we had a big stop to sand boarding. It was very interesting experience in Dubai👍

My parents & my 12 yr old brother, visited Dubai in Jan'12. They wanted to go for desert safari minus the adventure of dune bashing / 4 WD desert driving. Hence after quite a lot of searching, i bumped across Funtours.
They offer great desert safaris at very competitive prices & the one without dune bashing is quite cheaper. The booking process was quite simply calling to enquire, mailing them with details & getting a confirmed booking without even paying a single penny. All through we received great customer service from a well informed, polite & accommodating staff.
Although the start time of the tour was delayed by 30-40 mins, it was made up by great service from the friendly driver, very nice desert camp with lots of activities & variety of vegetarian food options.
Overall it was a very easy going, comfortable & fun evening.
I would highly recommend using this tour company with confidence of getting good service, enjoyment & value for money.

Thank you for your feedback, so glad you had FUN with FUNTOURS! The idea of Safari without the dune driving, came about so that anyone with very young children or health issues, can still enjoy the wonderful experience of being out in the Desert.

The driver was on his phone from the moment he picked us up. To make things worse, he was video taping me and my gf which is highly illegal in the UAE. The driver was not wearing the traditional local attire as do most drivers on a desert tour in the UAE. Also, the vehicle pictured on their website is not what picked us up from our hotel. The driver was very awkward. We felt very unsafe and decided to jump out of the vehicle when stopped in traffic and take a taxi back to our hotel. If you are White and/or from the West do not use this company as it is not safe for you. If I had the option, I would not even give this company a one star rating, they get a zero. I filed a complaint with the national tourism board, I hope you enjoy your investigation "funtours."

So you take down your first review, then decide to have another go, wow you really got it in for me dont you. Well according to the other guests in your car you are not telling the truth, according to the dept of tourism, you complained of speeding, even though you never left palm island which is full of speed bumps, and now, with an obvious rethink you are back with on the phone, and videoing, while driving, that's some multi tasking right there!
A company owned by a British female is dangerous to westerners, not in Emirati dress, though no Emiratis drive safari and not one of our cars, all this in 10 minutes, are you possibly just a vindictive nutter, who leaps out of moving cars for goodness only knows what 'real' reason. Looking forward to the next episode!

Ехать от дубай около часа. Привозят сначала на пункт проката квадрациклов, там можете и остаться с ребенком и пофоткаться. Но если укачивает, то лучше не тратить ни время, ни деньги. Потому что самые красивые фотографиии в глубине пустыни, и барханы большие и песок другой, пешком вы туда никак не дойдете. Мы брали утреннее сафари, бронировали индивидуальную машину. теоретически там вы можете с водителем договориться, чтобы ехал аккуратнее, впечатлений таких крутых конечно не будет, зато не укачает. Стоило удовольствие 100 долларов за автомобиль. Длилось часа 3,5 с дорогой туда сюда, сафари, фотками и т.п. Без еды и бедуинов, но мы это и не хотели.

I am looking for a dune safari that doesn't have dune bashing. I am having trouble locating one but have read that you went on one. Could you please let me know the details of which tour is specifically is, and if the sand driving is likely to cause motion sickness or anxiety. Disappointed to read you didn't like the dinner as the photos look good. Do you have any tips or advice you can offer about this safari to maximise the enjoyment. Thanks Tina

I have attached the link from whom we booked it from. Funtours was amazing. This didn’t have dune bashing. I chose this particular excursion as I had my 16 month old daughter with me and she thoroughly enjoyed it as well. Funtours pick you up from your hotel and drops you back. Once there you get to have henna done and ride a camel for extra cost. Before the sun sets I would recommend walking to the top of the dune as the pictures will be amazing. Hope this helps.
