Having lived in this area for several years I fully understand the potential it had. Unfortunately, many projects in Sports City have fallen by the wayside whilst other areas in Dubai have prospered. Personally, I put it down to bad management in the past. I just hope the future management of Sports City have the capacity to fulfil the original vision for the area.

Great stadium in the sports city internationally recognized arena for cricketing stars. Met the genius Yuvraj Singh and the Legend Shahid Afraid personally. Great state of art ambience and facility to watch the game with sheer luxury in the Royal Box area A zone. Thank you to Els club team for the amazing catering and hospitality services. Great food selection and excellent five star standard service

the mosque in one of the buildings is constantly trying to compete with the construction noise. Dust everywhere and you won't have chance to sleep as the constructions go 24/7... Prices are getting ridiculously high compared to the quality... terrible 1 year.

Been to Sports City in November 2013 to January 2014, apartments are really nice with good facilities, however the noise from the construction (which is completely understandable but early mornings?), very bad singing of the constant prayer calls from the Elite Residence buildings and the roads are shocking. The plans for the area looks very impressive and however will be a very nice place to live and visit. But if you are looking for peace and quiet, defo not worth it!!!

Ok guys, this sports city is under construction and there is a lot of way to go,but there is a big fact that had been missed! If you are a runner, running is your favorite sport like other millions of people in the world you can not find a descent place to run in Dubai Sports city or in Dubai. The only season you can run outdoors is winter,in Jan. or Feb. or maybe some part of December. That's all. At least they may have built an indoor running circuit with air conditioning in Sports City but no! Nobody has ever thought about it.They spent billions on an artificial boring ski circuit but mother of all sports, running, had been missed in Dubai Sports City. And that my friend is inexcusable mistake.

It will be a Dubai Marina with golf views once water filled up in canal in 4th Q 2018. It is one of the best location in Dubai with dedicated road access. Eden Garden Tower looks best among all towers in vicinity as it provide direct views of Victory heights golf course. Canal will provide elegance to the place and the property value will go high as water comes in canal in 2018. I am loving my flat that give sdirect view to golf course and canal under the building. I can see burj al arab very clear from my balcony.

We went to watch a fantastic artist at the Dubai International Cricket Stadium at Sport City...
I won't give the artists name as this is not a review of them but of the poor stadium facilities and event management / event organisation.
When trying to buy tickets several websites quoted "Sold Out" allowing me to only buy tickets up in the grandstand and due to the huge size of the cricket stadium which was way to big for the concert we were miles away... As it happens there were 100's of not a couple of 1000 seats empty ????
No complimentary wi-fi within this modern venue which I found very strange... Start time on ticket was 19:00 main act didn't come on until gone 22:00, 30 mins between warm up act and main event...
During the main act 1000's of people started to get up and rush out, we thought it was a fire and followed, asking a venue steward on the way past what was happening he said that the circle had been opened up to fill the empty seats, when we were moving down towards the circle area another more senior steward said to us all "I don't know where you lot think your going as we are not opening up any extra seating in the circle" this wasted 20+ minutes of the concert, as we returned to our original seats.
From this experience Dubai promotors at sport city haven't really got a clue when it comes to the organisation or management of big music events.
Won't be returning to sport city
