Extremely educational and well maintained. The coin collection dates back from Alexander the Great plus it has come extraordinary contemporary collections. Iranian currency after the revolution worth looking at. Truly worth visiting while in Karachi

If you want you to know the history of Currency and the history of indo-pak. So must visit state Bank Museum for about the currency system

The place that is definitely worth visiting. It has a very big collection of coins and notes, the guides are perfect telling the history of all the exhibits presented here. Very nice art exibition on the second floor of the well-known and modern pakistani painters....More

This is a very interesting little museum and if you are lucky you may be able to ask the curator for a tour. If this is not possible, the displays are well marked and explained. This museum is not well known but well worth visiting.
