A place seen before but the recent renovations make for explicit learning of the mechanisms of the baths. The platforms created are not obtrusive and allow clear veiws.

The Agha Khan newly reopened Sahi Hamman was magnificent. The frescoes have been delicately restored and are well lit for full appreciation. This is the best restoration and I have seen on this trip to Pakistan. If in Lahore, must be visited.

If you want to know more about Lahore's history and its rich past, you should definitely go to Shahi Hammam. I highly recommend to go with a guide.

Restored and opened in 2016. Located just to the left of the Delhi Gate in side the old walled city of Lahore. Evidently the old baths were in disrepair from being used for housing supplies and munitions by the British and those previously ruling. Now...More

Kudos to the Lahore Walled City Authority for a great ob in restoring the Shahi Hammam. Loved it. More information on the history of the place and the various rooms can be an added attraction.

These Moghul Emperor bath house were recently excavated and is worth a visit to see the ingenuity of how ingeniously the bath houses were designed and operated for the comfort of the royalty.
