This gives you a taste for the history of this land , a small fun attraction only half an hour and you need a good head for heights if you go up the main tower, incredible value at 7 dinars

Right next to the Grande Mosque is the Ribat. This is a very interesting place to walk around. Architecture is amazing. The views from the top of the Ribat are amazing. Well worth a visit. Price about £3 to enter.

There is little to choose from the various Ribats we visited. There is a tower to climb which affords a good view of the town and harbour. There are toilets available but no sign of a cafe.

A beautifully restored building, well worth the visit. Do go to the top of the tower for great views over the city. Excellent toilets, always a plus.
