Although heavily modified since its construction the fort it is worth the visit, if you like photography try visiting in the afternoon where the sunlight shines over the Alexandria corniche, great views and phot-op

Very nice, big, beautiful views,walkable distance from the Fish Market, cheap entrance fee with student ticket. Worth a visit.
