About a 15 minutes easy walk from The Cecil, this small museum is well worth seeing for anyone who loves Cavafy and his poetry. GPS makes it easier to find - it's on a narrow side street and then two floors up, but the reward...More

This rather hidden 'museum' was the residence of Greek poet Kavafis and is definitely a must for Greeks and poetry lovers. It´s surely thrilling to walk around the house where K.P.K. wrote his poems and spent his days and nights in his beloved Alexandria...

How could we be visiting Alexandria and not pay a visit to Cavafy’s house! It is way too interesting especially if you are Greek. A place of pilgrimage even before its transformation into a museum, Cavafy's last home is considered a "must" for all visitors...More
