Built by the last of the Egyptian royalty, which he overspent on. A nice setting, pretty building, nice grounds. You cannot go inside as it is a Presidential Retreat.

It was nice to see lush grass and other plant life after a week of desert. You can't go inside the palace itself, but it was really neat to look at from outside the gates.

Gorgeous views of the sea, lovely palace - can only imagine how nice it would be to stay in the hotel - and a pleasure to see so many Egyptian families enjoying the grounds with picnics and children in tow.
