it would have been nice to be able to visit inside; I do not know if it has ever been opened. The wooden stairs need some repairing. However, it has a great view over the Old city and Tampa mountain. It worth the visit.
We walked here along an alley near the bus station. It took us a wee while to find it. Nice alley with a river running by. We walked to end then up a path to white tower. Superb views then walked down path through park...More
From the parking we used to go throught the bus station to the City Center, but we found another pedestrian way near the old city walls from where you can climb to the White Tower. Close to the Black Tower.
We visited this defensive tower when we walked around the the old city walls. There is no access into the building and those steps are pretty dodgy but well worth a visit. I really do recommend the walk around the city walls.
