it is one of the narrowest streets in Europe at 1.2 meters wide. There is a street in Amsterdam, that I have been to multiple times, that is much more narrow than Strada Sforii. I liked reading the walls. They were covered with thoughts from...More

The information on the Rope street, calling it a street is a little misleading. Firefighters used it, no wagon could get down it, so maybe a passageway is a better term for it. Walk it fast, as the day we went it was full of...More

It does have claim to fame as 2nd or 3rd narrowest street in Europe but it was a little disappointing - it's more like a laneway or alley. Not sure what the qualifications for the title are.

This is a really narrow street , you could go visit it an walk in it and touch the walls on the sides of the tiny street . It’s near the city center .

Said to be the narrowest street in Europe. If one is not careful, you can pass by it and not take any notice of it because it is off a busy road. Did not go right down it , but it was a site to...More

Its a narrow street that's worth a walk down if you pass by either end. Some graffiti and a lot of tourists but you can take a couple of photos to show everyone when you get home!

no idea what is so special about this street, its an alley way and that's it.. we only went down it once and passed about 20 people so a bit of a squeeze.

We loved walking this historic and very narrow street which we did several times as it was also a good short-cut between main streets. Very charming even in the rain!

An amazing tiny street is not so difficult to find, I followed the wikitravel describing, how to find it. Funny to experience this.

It is very narrow but can get a good pic with the mountains in the background. Apparently the smallest lane in Europe so worth a trip for a pic.
