Its worth to take a walk along the old city walls, with its bastions, shows how the old Brasov looked like once in the middle ages. Takes you back in time and is a nice view of the city.

For 10 minutes from touristic path, this Bastion worth the visit. Nice building, with a small inside museum. I like the building and the maps from inside and for 7 lei, is a nice visit. Put it on google maps, because otherwise isn't very easy...More

The Bastionul has been restored but you are not allowed to explore or climb to the second floor, or see the insides of the towers. They will only charge 7 lei to enter but 25 lei extra if you wish to take pictures, which would...More

While I was pointing out some architectural features before we entered, some unkempt woman came out shouting we had to buy tickets. She didn’t speak any English. Backward place. To be avoided.

This is the largest medieval bastion in Brasov and was built during 1421-1436. The watchtower was rebuilt in 1570-1573 and is the best preserved. Amazing to think how long it has stood and guarded the city

We paid 7 lei each to a rude member of staff for a view of an interesting courtyard and one room museum with a dusty model of the old walled city. Quite cheap, but 25 lei per camera if you want to take photos. So...More
