Is located in campus of University of Prishtina, is very unique architecture from socialism period. Tourists can see also inside and is for free.

Definitely a must visit during the stay in Pristina. The library opens at 7am and can then also be visited from the inside.

The national library is a funny looking thing. Best time to visit is just before sunset since all the crows cover the white bumps. As the sun starts to set the sky turns black as all the crows fly away. Really impressive spectacle. The library...More

this building certainly is a must see once in Pristina. It has an interesting architecture and if you are interested also a interesting history. Tip: go inside and see the big auditorium. it's quite special.

A must visit for the architecture while in Pristina Very interesting insides as well, the liberary is open for public till a certain section but if you are with any student can always ask to show around which can be cool.

Well worth a walk there only to look at one of the ugliest buildings I have ever seen. Did not go inside.

I walked up to, and around, this building which looks really impressive from a distance. Close up it looks a little tired and the paving round the outside is cracking up. It needs some maintenance, but the architecture is stunning.

I enjoyed the unusual architecture of this library. It really stands out! The interior features an interesting USA featured reading room containing vintage "American" memorabilia, footballs, magazines, Clinton photos, etc. Kind of like a time capsule from the 70's and 80's. I have no idea...More
