The setting is superb. It is worth visiting the museum purely for that and for the interior. Please note that you need to pay with CASH! (A street vendor just outside facing the museum will change Euros etc, by the way)

It is located just by the Petrovaradin Fortress, so you can combine your visit to the fortress with the museum. The museum is pretty small but it showcases some great items related to the history of the city and the region.

Well, as they have plenty of space in the tunners and halls of the fortres, collection is a tiny one and a visitor would expect more. Do not forget to bring local currency, because cards or even foreign currencies are not accepted
