Very lovely staff. We ended up doing the Walking Tour and the Kornati Boat Trip with Art & Nature Travel.
Sime who ran the walking tour was very funny, very knowledgable, and made it incredibly interesting.
The Kornati boat trip was wonderful. I was surprised at the amount of food and wine on offer and included. It was a good balance of being left with our own time and being guided. The water round the islands was stunning.

Sime (Simon) is everything one would want in a tour guide: knowledgeable, fun, friendly, humorous, and most importantly, his love for his city and this job.

This was a last minute booking at the very end of the season, so we were lucky to have him all to ourselves. He showed us so many places and details that we'd have missed for sure. Simon has so much info on the history of things that it was like having Google walking with us, but in much more entertaining form.

What makes this tour so great is to feel his love for Zadar and the pride he has in being there to show and tell all about his beautiful city. If you have a question, he has an answer.

Beside a historian, he's also a musician, a person interested in many things in life, which makes it very nice and easy to chat with him.

He's one of the must-see in Zadar!

Joined a "turn up and pay" Zadar city walking tour from the central square not knowing what to expect. Turned out to be the best £10 (equiv) we spent our entire trip.
The guide šime was engaging, knowledgable, passionate, enthusiastic and made the entire experience the highlight of our stay in Zadar. We've visited several areas of Croatia so knew a far amount about the history, yet he managed to put more pieces in place. He even arranged for a mini cheese and liquor tasting en-route. No need to use those expensive private guides.... this group tour was brilliant.

The entire tour felt a bit rushed and only really lasted 1.5hrs. Although knowledgeable, the guide spoke quickly, without much inflection and did not go into any detail about the sites. The pag cheese tasting involved a quick stop at one shop with a small piece of cheese offered to each participant. I returned later to speak with the clerk to obtain more information, more tastings, and to make a purchase. I learned that the strong bora wind blows sea salt over the vegetation which the sheep then eat resulting in a salty cheese.

Then the group was lead back to the office where each participant was offered a small sampling of marschino in a somewhat sterile environment.

Our group comprised of 12 participants. Overall, a somewhat stale experience. We ended up retracing our steps the next day with our guidebook in a more leisurely fashion and had a more enjoyable experience.

Traveling with a friend, in Covid times, we had joined the Zadar walking tour and we had also booked four private tours with Sime (Plitvice Lakes, Trogir and Split, Nin and Pag, Sibenik). We have both to express our gratitude to Sime for outstanding tours! Sime is a truly excellent guide, he is able to communicate his deep love for his home country as well as for the historical perspective of places. He really did a phantastic job! He made efforts to give you the utmost experience of the places you are visiting; he adapts the tours according to your individual interests and capacities. Sime makes you understand the historical perspective of the sites you are visiting. I can recommend "Art and Nature Travel" very warmly! If you really want to get to know a maximum about Croatia, Sime is the guide you need to have!

I enjoyed a wonderful wine tasting organised by Šime from Art & Nature travel. The dinner and wine was excellent, and the service and staff in the restaurant was impeccable.
I travelled solo to Croatia and took this experience to meet some new people - the other guests on the wine tasting evening were from a number of different countries and we had some interesting conversations. This is such a good idea I would definitely recommend this evening to you if you, like me, are travelling solo, and want to enjoy an evening with good food, wine and company.

We were on a cruise in the Adriatic and were to visit Zadar . A guide from Split who I befriended over the years recommended to contact Sime from Art and Nature Travel and because he gave me some very interesting places to visit and taste very nice Wine and delicious specialty cheese from Gligora Dairy I formed a small group of 12 to go and do this tour with Sime .
We had a great tour in a comfortable mini bus , Sime is excellent in his English and has a great personality and lots of info and stories to tell .
Hopefully in the future we will get back to Zadar and for sure I will be contacting Sime . Also in name of our small group Sime Thank You for a great day !
