As part of your visit make sure you wander the botanical gardens and visit the monastery. The monastery itself is impressive and their is a small museum of the history of the island below. In addition Game of Thrones fans can get their picture taken...More

These beautiful ruins are definitely worth a look whilst on the beautiful Island of Lokrum. They are currently under restoration & it looks like the work is being done well. Game of Thrones will love this place as filming for various parts took place here....More

The monastery is partially restored and worth seeing. Game of thrones section with iron throne is easy to find, though not purpose of trip (love the books, hate the show). Hap good lunch in restaurant. Now off to swim (after 30 minutes of course)

Lovely monastery currently under restoration in the gorgeous grounds of the old botanical gardens. There are lots of wildlife to see too. Including many peacocks, a variety of rabbits from fawn to black and lots of birds and lizards.

I first visited the Benedictine monastery on Lokrum island in 1981. The monastery is just one of the historical sites to see on the island and worthe the visit.

You know this better as Qarth from season 2 and after the coolness of reliving the garden party near poisoning in the very same garden wander in and take your seat on the real iron throne!!
