The Stradun is the main street of the Old Town, you can find everything in this street, restaurants, atm, souvenir stores, ice cream (very cheap 10 kuna, try it) musicians, etc. Lost the counting of how many times I was there and enjoyed it!

A gorgeous main street of the Old Town filled with souvenir shops, ice cream kiosks, cafes and restaurants! Stradun is linked to all the main landmarks of the Old Town, so a stroll there is a must-do in Dubrovnik!

Surrounded by history, and full of interest. Shell out for ONE drink and just SIT ! Cheaper places on side-streets. Lucky to be here at night when there was a procession, with band, to the Town Hall for the Olympic gold-medal winning water-polo team, great...More

The Standun is a lovely street but best seen outside the cruise ship visits. We stayed in Dubrovnik old town so were able to enjoy this in the morning and early to late evening to appreciate the architecture.

Very busy main street in the old town. Filled with shops, bars, restaurants and of course most of the must sees in Dubrovnik (Franciscan monastery, Rectors Palace, Church of St Blaise). Very popular with tourists - get there early before the coaches arrive with day...More

Herds of slow moving folks with fanny packs. Lined with shops that are "cruise ship approved". Great if that's the kind of thing you're into. Couldn't leave fast enough.

This is an amazing thoroughfare - particularly in the evening when it is sensitively lit. Totally safe and friendly. Beautiful buildings and very clean.

Try to ignore the crowds if visiting during peak season as we did. Walking through the Stradum is just amazing, there are so many restaurants, bars and little shops. Everything is so clean, well maintained, yet steeped in history. Hard to think 20 years ago...More

This is a great thoroughfare just for shopping, window or actually spending money. It's great for thinking of the long history of this ancient city. There are signs of the 1990s war too, very sobering to contemplate. Wandering through during a warm evening as a...More
