The central plaza from the Pile gate down to the harbour. Shops & cafes line the street & IMHO, best at night. The hoards of cruise day-trippers gone leaving just weekenders & locals. We stayed during Croatia's first game in the 2018 soccer World Cup...More

Busy area as Main Street of the Old Town area. Grab an ice cream as you go and check out the sites. Some great speciality shops in this street as well as dining opportunities.

It was impressive to walk down the Stradun in the old city.....lots of shopping (high-end, as well as touristy-type places).... except in late-morning/middle of the day. We came back in the late afternoon and it was a much different (pleasant) experience where you could appreciate...More

We enjoyed leisure strolls after dinner along the Stradun. It takes 15 to 20 minutes to walk from one end to the other. Great place to have coffee at an outdoor cafe and do some people watching

Great place to visit and the restaurants are great. Not too expensive. A little busy though but people are friendly. Very clean.
