Busy area as Main Street of the Old Town area. Grab an ice cream as you go and check out the sites. Some great speciality shops in this street as well as dining opportunities.

Lots of history took place on these shiny, marble cobblestones on the Placa, one of ghe main streets in Dubrovnik. The Pila Gate usually is the entry to this area of Old Town Dubrovnik, with an ornate multi-fountain monument at the beginning. There was quite...More

This is the Main Street of Dubrovnik (no cars in old town) and what an atmosphere it is! We were here for the World Cup soccer grand final and even though Croatia lost, they still celebrated (thousands of people just in the streets). Be careful...More

It was impressive to walk down the Stradun in the old city.....lots of shopping (high-end, as well as touristy-type places).... except in late-morning/middle of the day. We came back in the late afternoon and it was a much different (pleasant) experience where you could appreciate...More

We enjoyed leisure strolls after dinner along the Stradun. It takes 15 to 20 minutes to walk from one end to the other. Great place to have coffee at an outdoor cafe and do some people watching

Great place to visit and the restaurants are great. Not too expensive. A little busy though but people are friendly. Very clean.

The delightful main street of old town Dubrovnik is lined with shops and vendors - all of whom will kindly remind you that they do not accept dollars or euros. This may not be much of an issue if you don't plan to do major...More

This amazing place is full of atmosphere day and night. The architecture is a feast for the eyes and as soon as you arrive you know why the HBO team chose to film Game of Thrones here. This is a must visit location whilst in...More

For a mixture of style and history this must be one of the best thoroughfares in Europe. It connects the two main gates and provides access to most of the old town, directly or indirectly. Early or late to avoid the crowds unless of course...More
