Quiet and relaxing or a full day trekking and kayaking on the lake, whatever you do, this is a must visit place... A little paradise !

Stunning views everywhere you looked. Blew my mind that they were salt water lakes.Hired a bike and even caught the boat over to the restaurant in the middle. and floated from one lake to the other.

We visited Mjlet National Park in September and did a fantastic hike here. However, the entry fee is incredibly expensive just for a day visit ($25/person). The views from the high points were fantastic.

The water color is mesmerising. We took a day trip. It was worth the sea ride. Do not miss it. Its worth every minute!

Not sure if this is an absolute place to visit. I could have skipped this one. Is just a nice national park to walk around the lake if nothing else to do..

Pleasant walk or cycle around the lakes, but the boat trip involves an awful lot of queuing for the hourly boat and there's only a church to see on the island. Unfortunately, the entrance fee includes the boat making it rather expensive - for a...More

We were staying in an apartment, so were not sure if we would get picked up, but we did, from the bus stop by our flat. Well organised day, first ferry takes a while, so take a book or something with you. Once there organisation...More

I really wish we had spent more time in Mjlet and in particular the national park. the pictures do not do it justice, so much prettier in real life. We hired bikes and rode around the main path, loads of spots to stop and have...More

You mention you are going from Dubrovnik to Polace! Why are you then asking about ferries to Sobra? The best/fastest ferry from Dub/Mljet is the high-speed catamaran which goes to Pamona. Not sure of the times of this, as it... More

I do not think that there are any waterfalls on the island of Mijet. The famous waterfalls are in the Plitvice National Park which is in the north of Croatia.

Yes you can, in fact it's one of the highlights. There are several beaches near the ferry points and entry points around the island. The cut that joins the two lakes is said to be fun to swim when there is a tide moving... More
