After a week of traveling through Bosnia and Croatia this was an amazing quiet place to chill and unwind. The lakes are fantastic for a swim and super special at sunset. My son (13) preferred the lakes to the beach.

A hidden Croatian treasure, lakes you can swim in it, not far from the town and sea coast, but really a getaway for those who are looking for something else, not just roasting on the sun. Easy going people 😍

These lakes are very quiet and we enjoyed our day canoeing. We were lucky to be able to use the canoes of Villa Solo for nothing/

beautiful! dont miss this incredible experience. it is not the most popular destination, and lonely planet doesnt even list it as one of the attractions. if you happen to be in south dalmatia, do pay a visit to these wonderous lakes.

During our break from surf paddling in the Bacina Lakes, Ivan introduced us to his 'cousin' who runs trips around the lakes in a boat he had single handedly rebuilt. I can't begin to describe the fun we had and the sights we saw while...More
