We wanted to go to a beach other than Banje when we were there. It's quite a walk from Old Town Dubrovnik, but worth it. The steps to/from the beach aren't that bad even after walking in the heat. Was not crowded when I was...More

The beach is just a few minutes away from the city center (we took an uber). The beach is clean and absolutely beautiful. Not as crowded as the beaches in the city center that are busy with tourists! The white sandy beach combined with the...More

We had a great few days at the beach. Pretty cheap sun beds only £5 for the day. The bar/restaurant has lovely food and nice wine. Roland (could only remember his name by calling him Roland the Rat) comes around to sell boat trips around...More

Lovely beach ... it's pebbles so bring your flip flops as it hurts a bit getting in and out the water. The water is crystal clear and gorgeous to swim in. There's a bar for drinks and ice creams too :)

Nicely located just outside the old town of Dubrovnik, although far enough from all the city's hustle and bustle. An isolated beach with clear water and nice vibe. Not crowded and well maintained. Loved it!

Great beach, with excellent view of island and city walls. Only bad thing is that its crowded most of the time,so its good to come here in the mornings to catch a place.

Quiet secluded stony beach. It is probably a 20-25 minute walk from the Old Town and is accessed via some quiet steep steps but it is worth it if you want a quiet beach as opposed to the busy and noisy Banje Beach. Great views...More

St. Jacob beach is towards the far end of the old coastal street that leads away from Ploce gate toward the east/south-east. It is quite far to walk so most will take a car or bike. At the St Jacob Monastary, stairs lead down to...More

The Dubrovnik villa hotel and the president hotel are both very good. However they are usually fully booked.
