Lovely little pit stop on the walk wall but only local cash is accepted, no euros or cards, so one should prepare accordingly. But the coffee with that view is certainly worth it, also super nice staff.

Having walked around the walls on a hot day, we were glad to get our feet up for a break. The staff were quick and efficient, our only complaint was that the coffee was a bit tepid when it arrived at our table. This was quickly rectified and we enjoyed a nice half an hour looking out over the city. Large beer and a cappuccino cost 74Kn (£8.55)

This cafe is good place for pitstop after quite a walk from Pile Gate along the Dubrovnik city wall. Basically they serve drinks, gelato and dessert. Taking 15-30minutes at this cafe and enjoying the beautiful view of Dubrovnik bay.

I was doing the walk on the wall on a hot sunny humid day. Started from the Police gate and after crossing the Pile gate started feeling really tired. This small cafe on the wall came at rescue. Stunning views, shed and a chilled beer. What else we need in life! Cooled down for 30 mins and then continued my walk.

A busy hub as it's the first watering hole on the route if you start from the city main gate. Grab a table on the perimeter so you get an unencumbered view out to sea.

The drinks range is limited, no sodas for example and avoid the lemonade it's just too sour. But go for the ambiance and visit the tiny art shop next door.

High prices but look at the view your are buying ... unrivaled!
