The ruin side, museum and the living church is a real treat to visit in Antigua. Worth the stop and take the time to go inside.

The church itself is beautiful with incredible artwork inside - make sure you a dressed appropriately, they don't take too kindly to too much skin on show or hats/sunglasses inside - also no photos. The ruins next to the church are HUGE and very beautiful,...More

Church and ruins on a large scale. Not crowded during the week but very busy on Sunday. Be sure to go to the south side of the church to see the ruins. The north side is non-nondescript.

This church is finely located between an ancient museum and the Sanctuary of Brother Peter. I was there on a Sunday during mass time, and I was truly in awe of how respectful and devoted the locals are towards their religious traditions. The Sanctuary of...More
