Not much to see inside it really but still worth a walk up from the city centre for the great views over the city.

The fort, which overlooks the city is a must visit. Although only partially restored , the work done maintains the authenticity of the original. The walls are well worth the climb for great views of the city and what the guards were able to see...More

From the fortress you get a good view of the city. It is easily accessible by foot, and is open both day and evening. Worth the time if you're in the mood for a short stroll.

Except the view over the Skopje city is nothing interesting in this fortress. Just in case when you have much free time I recommended to visit. Otherwise you can take some picture from outside

This place is definitelly worth a visit, nice, clean, cared paths around whole fortess and nice view on the town from above. It’s quite big but you can sit down anywhere, we saw also some couples picnic near Kale.

We climbed up to the fortress it's a long climb if you're walking. It's free. There are some things to see but not alot. The views of the city are good.

It is a nice place, but needs definitely a restoration with information points and maybe guided tours. There are very beautiful views of the city.

Impressive from a distance and up close. Good backdrop to the Turkish bazaar side of the river. Recommend.
