Has info on the island's discovery, population, visitors, shipwrecks, current status, and more. Expect to spend at least 2 hours, but well worth it!!

Crammed with interesting facts and insights, a visit to the museum is well recommended. It's well located and easy to find (near the harbour) and it has a shop where you can buy books, t-shirts, etc. We loved our visit to the museum and learnt...More

This is such a well organised and interesting display, looked after by a dedicated and committed crew. It does St.Helena's complex history credit!

We were extremely impressed when we discovered this little museum.The displays are very informative and superbly well done. Lovely gift shop also. Not to be missed in Jamestown.

Excellent museum, even for locals. Amazing variety of artefacts from toilets to scale models of Jacobs ladder, to pottery made by King Dinizulu who was exiled here. The staff do a wonderful job, and there are lots of affordable souvenirs (more affordable than other places)....More
