Such a beautiful building! As old as America and a truly breath-taking place to see and as beautiful as a morning sunrise. Also, how cool to walk on the same ground our Founding Fathers once walked.

The tour folks are very knowledgeable and it makes the tour very interesting. You will learn more of our nation’s history as you go from room to room. Anyone interested in the history of America or just touring will appreciate going here.

We enjoyed an hour here on a beautiful early Fall Saturday. Some of that time was seated on a bench overlooking the well manicured grounds. The remainder of that time was spent inside on the first floor; that is open to the public for free....More

We enjoyed touring this old and historic State House. It took us about 30 minutes to do a self-tour of the Capitol and grounds. Getting good external pictures of the capitol is difficult in summer because the trees surrounding the capitol are quite large. It...More
