If you cycle, ride it. If you're a runner, run it. However you enjoy it get out there!! It's beautiful, gives you great views of the canal and the city, and has attractions in its own right: biomuseo, restaurants, punta culebra nature center.

It is a nice place to rent a bicycle and have a ride. Be cautious to take the ride with good weather. It should not be that hot...

There is hardly any overhead cover on this walkway, so trying to make the trip during the afternoon is just an exercise is solar sadomasochism.

The causeway was built from material removed for the canal locks and sea access. It connects 2 or 3 small islands to the city and these now accommodate marinas, shops and watersport centres.

It's just a lovely walk. Nice clear paths. Flat the entire way. But it's exposed the entire way so bring a hat and sunscreen. There's only a few shady spots. Worth the walk though.... even part way.

The causeway attaches the four islands made while dredging the Panama Canal to Panama City. It also acts as a breakwater for the Canal. There are condos, shops, restaurants and marinas on some of the islands.

Went to eat almost every night. Mi Rancharo. My husband loved the steak. The grilled shrimp were excellent. Last Eskinita has best pizza. Views are just the icing on the cake.

To my knowledge there's not general wi-fi available on the Causeway, but I'm sure you could always use the wifi of the restaurant - perhaps at most you may be asked to order something. Hope that helps! Enjoy Panama - it's a... More
