Old town Kijev is part of the town which is definitely worth visiting. There are several beautiful churches and otthr old building worth seeing there.

The church was under resoration and was not possible to go inside. But on the other hand there is a wonderful view from the garden of the church that you should see it.

Without a doubt, St. Andrew's Church is my favorite church in Kiev. It sits up on a hill which, therefore, makes it look very regal. The colorful domes accented in gold, though, are what give it such a unique look.

Even though it is architecturally complex, it is beautifully maintained and in effect simple to appreciate. Beautiful iconography.
