This square is where modern Belgrade meets the historic center. Chances are you will walk through here. The grandiose buildings are admirable but the experience is diminished by the intense flow of traffic.

If you like to see people, and flowers and eat and relax then this is the place to be. In the heart of the center of Belgrade lies the square with a horse rider statue. Everybody who is anybody is hanging out here.

It is very relaxing and central place. At that location you will see National theater, Serbian Museum, monument to Knez Mihajlo or the horseman.

In my opinion the most attractive place in Belgerad is Trg Republike. The are number of bars nearby with live music & friendly atmosphere. In case you want to enjoy your time this place can be your first choice.
