This gorgeous church has had a long history, beginning in the mid-1630s. It has been modified, including after earthquakes in the 1800s. With a lovely facade displaying its triple domes and an ornate welcoming entrance, it was lovely to visit it after dark. An interior...More

One of the most well known churches in Bucharest. It was many times renovated since 17th century when Wallachian prince Matei Basarab has built a stone wall for a wooden church. "Zlatari" means Goldsmiths. Have a look.

There's nothing at all unique in this church. We passed by it in the evening and entered the next day, only to be underwhelmed by its unimpressive interiors.

Zlatari Church which located along the busy Victory Street and just opposite to the famous CEC Palace should not be missed by tourists who travelled around that area. The church has been renovated and some of the paintings inside still appeared to be attractive.

A pleasant church in the centre of the city. Small external appearance but when inside it is the height of the building with the domes that is impressive. Ornate decorated walls and ceilings with impressive iconostasis (altar screen) glittering and adorned with very good paintings....More

The Zlatari Church is located across the street from the famous CEC Palace, on Calea Victoriei. The church have very nice old paintings inside, made by Gheorghe Tattarescu, but unfortunately unmaintained and covered by smoke.

Another old church, beautiful, nice rehabilitated but not very impressive, situated on Calea Victoriei, close to some other landmarks, more interesting, like CEC Palace or History Museum of Romania. The church, not very big,is surrounded from three sides by tall blocks,it has a white facade with red bricks adornments.
