The restoration was still ongoing, but the building was very nice. Got to see more than normal and walked through the different rooms. Impressive that it was a hall called the Norwegian hall, with Viking inspired wall decorations and chandeliers.

Not sure what to say. An interesting building, but there are many interesting buildings here. Built in the early 20 th century, its dedicated to military activity and owned by the army. You can sometimes tour inside. The fountsins sometimes work. But the outside fascade...More

We eagerly awaited to view this renowned beautiful architecture. But unfortunately the facade was almost completely covered with hoarding and it wasn't obvious where we could visit. Furthermore the fountains were also quiescent. Built in the lovely Neo-Classical Beaux-Arts style in 1912, it replaced the...More

Beautiful architecture, tall rooms, wrought iron decorations, a beautifull ball room where they throw great parties.

No better place to stand at attention for a photo! Although the street around it is a little run down and due for some much needed repairs the Cercul Militar is still a must see when in Bucharest. Now "At ease!" LOL!

This lovely building is currently being renovated. It's still possible to visit it, though, and thankfully, its lovely fountain is working - even during the summer.

We were looking for a place for a dinner near our hotel and found the restaurant on the terrace of the Military Club. Though looking not very cozy (the building itself is being restored), the restraurant offers nice food and wonderful white home-made wine. The...More

It's a beautiful old building or palace housing a military library and some governmental group with a beautiful fountain in front, a restaurant in the upper area and several art exhibits in the lower areas. There are different exhibits there occasionally.
