Good traditional Romanian food, if you are lucky you can even be there when the live band is playing. :) Friendly staff. Nice in the summer, with a large court, but also in the winter.

If you want a huge variety of Romanian food you can go to "Hanul lui Manuc." It is at the "Piata Unirii," in the center of the old historical part of Bucharest. It is sad that I never could dine there in the years of...More

It is obviously a very touristic restaurant, however, the place is nice, in particular the courtyard during the summer period. Food is ok (typical Romanian) but you can wait a lot when there are touristic groups.

We decided to have dinner on our national day, May 17th, when we arrived Bucharest. This is a charming place. IT was a chilli wind outside, but here we sat away from the wind. The food and the service was excellent.

This inn was unique because the rooms were on the second floor. The courtyard, on ground level, had an entrance large enough for carriages to enter. At night, the gates to the courtyard were closed and the carriages and horses were safe for the night....More

I eat here from time to time, and always the food was nice. Sometimes is difficult to find a place, so it might be wise to book in advance. Do not get intimidated by the long menu: they have a lot of visitors, so everything...More
