Unfortunately, I saw no signage to tell me what this small area behind the fence was. It looks the same as 10 years ago. There are some remnants of old columns and the newer statue of Vlad...that’s it.

The bust of Vlad Dracula or Vlad the Impaler is here. Ruins of his court is around, which is under restoration. A museum is also under construction here.

It attracts a lot of attention as the only real link to Vlad that is accessible and it is just part of wandering around the Old Town. Nice bust of him and if you don't arrive at the same time as a walking group you...More

This is a future museum site. The. You can see some of the ruins of Vlad the Impalers citadel. More importantly is the important church right on the site that is stunning. This whole area will give real substance to this part of Old Town...More

Actually this is closed to the public for the past 2 years an according to our tour guide no one is working on anything so I very much doubt it will re-open anytime before the new decade... just some ruins and the bust of Vlad...More

the official site says The Old Princely Court Museum (Curtea Veche) houses the oldest historical testimonies of Bucharest, dating from the 13th century. but it has been closed for 2 years and you can only look through the railings at the ruins from a distance....More
